When I was perusing the Colour Pop website for the first time all I knew is that I was in a buying mood. I bought a lot! The Colour Pop Fetch Please Collection is the only set I purchased though so I figured I’d start there! This set includes one matte single eyeshadow, a pressed pigment duo, an eyeshadow duo, & 3 matte lippie stix. Keep reading to see my thoughts, swatches, & an eye look!
The packaging on this set is seriously cute- I think this came out quite awhile ago but it looks so summer appropriate! Everything is houser SUPER securely too- I really had to wiggle to get everything out! Luckily the eyeshadows are kind of a spongy, creamy powder texture so I didn’t have to worry about them breaking. One important thing to note with the eyeshadows is to securely twist on the lid after you use them so they won’t dry out or alter the texture. The lippie stix have great packaging with a peek of the color at the base along with the color name & finish. The packaging from Colour Pop is very well thought out in my opinion.
Colour Pop Super Shock Shadow Duo in Lovey Dovey & Hunger- Lovey Dovey is a cool medium gray with a semi-matte finish. Hunger is a rich warm maroon/cranberry with a matte finish.
Colour Pop Super Shock Shadow in Just A Sip- A softened warm peachy shade with brown undertones & a semi-matte lightly satin finish.
Colour Pop Super Shock Shadow Duo in Squint & Liaison- Squint is a bright medium red-toned orange with a matte finish. Liaison is a bold cool-toned very violet-based blue with a satin-matte finish. Please note the Colour Pop says their Pressed Pigments are not meant for use in the eye area so use at your own risk.
Swatches from let to right we have Colour Pop Hunger, Lovey Dovey, Just A Sip, Liaison, & Squint. The swatches are on bare skin & each shade is built up a bit so you can see the color payoff achievable. The pressed pigments in Liaison & Squint took the most building because I wanted to show how vibrant they can be even on bare skin.
From let to right is Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Paramour, Precocious, & Squeeze. All 3 shades are quite creamy!
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Paramour- A very deep red-toned burgundy with a matte finish. This one came a bit off looking sadly.
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Precocious- A light peach-toned beige with warm tones & a matte finish.
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Squeeze- A muted medium mauve-toned pink with a matte finish.
Swatches from left to right we have Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Paramour, Precocious, & Squeeze.
This whole collection is seriously pretty but has kind of a funky vibe to it. Is it just me or is this sort of a random set of colors? I wouldn’t think of putting these together personally.
For this eye look I used Hunger as my lid shade with Lovey Dovey in my crease. I then took Just A Sip & used it as my transition shade. I carefully took Liaison on an angled eyeliner brush on my lower lashline & a bit into my inner corner. Again please remember that the pressed pigments are cleared for the eye area so you need to be careful & make your own decision how how & where you’ll be placing them.
