Years ago I used the John Frieda® Sheer Blonde line & absolutely loved it so picking up the new Beach Blonde™ line at my Walmart was a no-brainer. Here you see the John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray along with the complementary Beach Blonde™ Cool Dip™ Shampoo & Beach Blonde™ Smooth Seas™ Conditioner. I’m really glad these products are for all hair colors & types because I just don’t get out in the sun as much as I used to so my hair is much darker than it used to be!
The John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Cool Dip™ Shampoo works well for heat- damaged hair that needs some moisture. My hair goes between super dry & lightly oily as of recently so this is a perfect in-between! Plus it has a minty tingle on my scalp & detoxifies for texturized beachy fullness.
Next in the routine is the John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Smooth Seas™ Conditioner which promises to rescue & detangle for soft touchable, texture. I’m loving the detangler aspect especially because usually when I try to pull out a messier style my super thick hair can become a mess!
Ready for the absolute must-have to get my look? The John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray! It texturizes for perfectly undone and effortlessly tousled styles. I absolutely love that whole windblown, tousled hair look but it can be tricky. This spray makes it look piecey & I can really use a little for light texture or amp it up! Plus the coconut scent makes me dream of sand between my toes!
Here’s my hair normally- a bit blah. It really needs help when I leave it down & if I don’t love it…you’ll likely see it in a bun! Hard pass right now because I’ve been doing this A LOT!
Now let me show you how I am making my hair look even more beachy to go with the John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray! A little DIY! I took some real seashells & glued them to basic bobby pins & a barrette! Super easy! I even added some gold accents to make it even more eye-catching!
Here you can see them in action, twists for the bobby pins & a simple pull back for the barrette! Add in the John Frieda® Beach Blonde™Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray & you have it made in the shade…err sand! I apply it to my hair on the top & bottom to make sure it hits all the good spots (because my hair is thick!) then scrunch a bit. To get the pieces how I want I can either to mini buns or just do like I did here & twist a few pieces around my fingers. & done!
